Colin Runcie

I’m a founding partner at Plenderleath Runcie, so I’ve been here from the beginning. I trained in Aberdeen and qualified as a solicitor in 1984.

I became a partner in another firm in 1987 and went on to set up Plenderleath Runcie with the 3 others in 1998. Initially, I was involved in most areas of legal work but in recent years I’ve mainly been focusing my time on residential property, wills and executries. I’m also a member of the Society of Advocates in Aberdeen.

Outside of work, I’m a member of Mensa and a Burgess of the City of Aberdeen. I’m a big music fan and I love live music. I play keyboards and guitar (badly) and I’m very proud of successfully completing a Beatles University Course (with distinction!).
